1. Scope of this Policy

This privacy policy (“the Policy”) sets out how we will use the information that we collect from you. 

For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998, Weber-Stephen Products (UK) Limited (“we” or “us”) are the Data Controller and we are therefore responsible for controlling the processing of your personal data.

By registering with the website, submitting your personal details, placing an order or submitting an online form you accept and consent to the terms of this Policy and to the processing of personal information as described in this Policy.  If you do not agree with any of these terms you should not become a registered user and should not submit any personal details.

When you submit your personal details we will obtain personal data about you, such as your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, payment card details.  You confirm that you will only enter information about yourself and that such information is true.

We may also monitor your use of this website which helps us build a profile of our users.  Please see section 7, “Cookies”.

We will use the personal data which you provide about yourself for administration and operational purposes, for example processing your registration, administration, processing payments and contacting you in relation to your order.  We will also use your personal data to enable us to review, develop and improve our website and the services we offer. 

We may also use your personal data for marketing purposes, for example to keep you up-to-date with special offers and events which may be of interest to you.

This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual. This information is collected for our internal purposes only and shall not be disclosed to any other organisation except as required by law. We may use "cookies" to collect information and track your use of our website. If you do not agree you can choose to not receive a cookie file by enabling your web browser to refuse cookies or to prompt you before you accept a cookie.
